I know the story because I have read the books, Played the games, read through all the terminals, looked at all the backstory info presented in all of that.

 

 

you obviously didn't read my post... or there is an echo in here... because I already said that Halo 2 and 3 have bad story's... but at least they don't CONFLICT with the earlier stories like halo wars does.  Ensambnle is just paying fan serrvice by adding all this crap to the game... they are trying to market to children Instead of Adults...  hence why all the new crap looks like it was designed by 5 year olds using a crayon.

 

you guys can have fun spending your money (or with the new age demographic that has moved in here over the last 2 years) your parents money, on a game that any real halo fan would not classify more than an expensive Fan Fiction. this website has degraded so much over the last 2 years... nearly as bad as the game. you middleschoolers have fun with your made for children game... I'm gonna go find something new that hasn't digressed to fan pleasing and money grubbing yet.

Woah!, Woah! hold on one minute there buddy. Now I'm not saying that you don't have a right to an opinion or anything but that statement was over the line. I (like many others I know) am obsesed with halo and all of its backstory and residents. We are also very excited for this game and no we are not little pre-teens. We are 17 year olds who pay for our own games and don't rip on a game before we play it. 

Now I'm not saying some of the things in it are questionable (cyclopes and Spartan laser) but it doesn't mean its an expensive fan-fic. I'm saying that you should wait see how it turns out and not make such harsh and unruly things.
