I can't say I really care for the name though.  Vampire just seems a bit odd.  But then again, there is the locust, with it's rather human name.  Still, there are more ghost type names, like Poltergiest and apparition.

It's not as bad as some people make it out to be.  I personnally like it, it rolls off the tounge.

That's true.  It is just personal preference I suppose.  And Vampire ain't so bad.  Just so long as there isn't a unit called "The Frankenstien"  or the lolcat I will be fine.
