im at a loss as to why there are so many people here saying that our current state of technology is higher then that of people in the year 2552... 500 years people.... in the last 500 years look what we have come from ;) 

If you match UNSC with USMC based on ONLY what you see in the halo games, there is a chance USMC would win.... but really you dont think that maybe the UNSC would have other vehicles lying around being used.... the only reason they are not in the halo games is because of simplicity....

The day the USMC can beat a race that has a technology level of being capable of space travel like the UNSC will be a very sad day... either that or it will be in 500 years time ;)
