this is the silliest topic ever...Pay attention to the literature... The UNSC came from the USMC therefore one would generally expect that it has evolved a bit since today... Any of you who honestly believe your current armed forces could take on that of one 100 years into the future let alone the time frame the halo verse is set, need to take a reality check ;)

The UNSC would have access to a hell of a lot more weapons and vehicles then what is displayed in the halo games. I mean seriously why would they only have 1 type of tank, 1 basic type of non tank vehicular transport and only pelicans, longswords and  hornets...

And even if at this point that is all they have... dont you think there would be a reason that they no longer use the old stuff???? i.e. the knew stuff is better ;)
