The Banshee and the Hornet are similair,

Likes:

1.they were both made for ground support

2.The both have a primary weapon for smaller targets, then they both have a secondary for tougher targets.

3.They both don't carry an actual AA load.

Differences:

1.Hornet hovers, while the banshee strafes

2.The banshee has a boost and even more firepower.

3.The hornet has jumpseats and missiles, while the banshee only one pilot and a fuel rod gun.

All-in-All they are both similair, they are both Anti Ground vehicles, just cause they look different, have different weapons, different speed, and all the other differences, that doesn't make them non Anti Ground.

2.however, i don't think ur grasping the meaning of equivalent. equivalent, in this situation at least(i think), means that vehicle "A" was specifically made in response to counter the making of vehicle "B". (A- hornet, B- banshee, or vice-versa).
