spartans are cyborgs! cyborgs are machines and humans combined. THEY DO NOT HAVE CHILDREN! and even if that were possible, given that the right endowments were kept, theyd be spreading their human DNA, because the baby of them can not be born as a machine, phisically impossible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
also, now that i have proven that there is no spartan 1 project unless it was a failed project and that the succeeded project was Spartan 2 project, guess what spartans were made for and when they were made, do you have any idea? obviously not. you see if you would of read the little booklet that came with Halo: Combat Evolved, it says that Spartans were made for a specific mission, that mission was to invade a covenant cruiser and kill all covenant onboard, while finding the coordinates of the covenant homeworld so that the humans could then turn all their forces on the homeworld to destroy the vast majority of covenant and also at the same time eliminating the covenant leaders

Spartans are NOT cyborgs. They are augemented human beings in armor. They are physically capable of bearing children(obviosly the females). An example of this would be Spartan-II Maria-068. She retired from the S-II program to have a family. The S-1 was a failed project. The Spartan-IIs original purpose was to quell the insurrections in the colonies. The Spartan-IIs original mission was to board a covenant ship, take the ship to the covenant homeworld, kidnap covenant leadership(a prophet) and take the prophet back to UNSC controlled space, and use the prophet to negociate a cease fire or even a peace treaty with the rest of the covenant.

TeamLIGER: You people are plain deluded...there is no such thing as a SPARTAN -I project...The only reason why the project was called SPARTAN-II was because the " SPARTAN-1 s" were the original inhabitants of sparta in ancient greece..

There is such thing as the Spartan-I project codemaned project ORION. They were trained as elite soldiers. Thier offspring are "named" S-1.1, S-1.2 They recieved minimal augementations and were disbanded in 2493
Has this been proven by bungie or in the books? If so please enlighten me as to where it has been mentioned...If I remeber correctly ORION has to do something with weapons and you consider the fact that Ackerson was against the idea of super soldiers....It would be quite contradictory if he were to do what he despises.....
All information on the S-1s are in the Halo Graphic Novel. Project ORION is in The Flood. Ackerson was againgst the idea of Spartans yes. But he is willing to do what must be done to protect humanity. So he created the S-IIIs read Ghosts of Onyx. Remember this, i am always right
S - 1s in the Graphic Novel? Where? And what do you mena by Project ORION is IN the flood? Or is it ON?
