I don't know why people are always comparing different universes. If you look at star wars everything works more or less without flaws but in Halo shields drop after one round from a MAC and you can't jump in and out of slip space every few mins. It's just all sort of pointless. There is no way to know if the turrets on the AT-AT would cripple a scarab so it could move in and finish the job or if the main cannon in the Scarab could burn through the hull of an AT-AT.
