Seeing as cyclops threads are flooded, and this isn't really so much of a criticism, just an observation.

I've been trying to defend the cyclops over at BLS forums, but with the latest screenshots something in the back of my head clicked, it reminded me of something.

Now i'd also like to say i'm one of the last people to automaticly make the assumption any type of bipedal mech is japanese (Or as most people seem to think, all japanese mechs are gundams.), but there really is quite an uncanny resemblance between the Cyclops and the Guren 02 from the Code Geass Anime.

I decided diagrams would be the best way of putting accross these similarities.

Firstly, it's probably best if you know what the Guren actually looks like.

And then the cyclops (I editted it to fit the Guren's colour scheme a bit more.)

Now i say again, i'm not in any way trying to bash the cyclops, i just want to know if me and the people i've shown this to are going crazy, or if other people can see the similarities too. That, and find if there's secretly a code geass lover in ES.
