For all the halo games Bungie released very little information.

ES are doing the same and its not doing it any good...

Battlefield Bad Company have given a beta and a demo, and there were trailers all the time.

Its made me want to get it more than i wanted to at first. where as ES are been so secret its gonna take months for them to release any more information... where I start getting bored of waiting.

Auctally, this Halo game has had more revealed about it then the other Halo games. P.S. None of the Halo games had demos and HaloWars is going to have one.

Its the game and you get to experience gameplay the same as a demo

No, a demo is a publically released playable build of the game intended for promotional purposes only.  A demo is a completed build of the game wth limited content.

A beta, on the other hand, is an incomplete unstable latest build of the game that is not intented in any way to be fun but instead find bugs/glitches/imbalances in what they have done so far.  A beta is usually intented for a small group of hand picked gamers to test the current game, not for an early hands on expereince.  Almost all games/mods have beta tests, but only about 5 total have had open beta tests, which cannot really be considered betas because instead they give the public a stable but limited version of the game that may be subject to change.
