As would I, the pelican would be fun to drive, but it would probably be too powerful.

It takes a lot of sustained tank fire to take out it's covenant equilvent, the phantom.

now imagine shooting a pelican as it comes towards you. You'll probably hurt it but it keeps coming. Then it opens up with it's rotary guns and missles, and pow your dead. Think of it as a slower, stronger form of hornet.

actually if you know where to hit then it takes only 2 shots from a tank to kill a phantom (hit it in the front 2 weird circular things first shot blows a hole second BOOM!!!!!!!!) also the pelican doesn't need to have the missile launchers it would only have 1 chaingun up front and 1 chaingun in back. also the pelican was invulnerable in the game it was only destroyed in pre programed scenes like when the banshees come and shoot them and they crash into each other. so in multiplayer it would be a simple fix 2 hits to the engines in the front or back would equal a crashed pelican. not very hard to kill unless you don't know where to shoot but the pelican would make an excellent transport. just think your on your way to get the enemy flag in the new sidewinder a rocket hits the engine but your alive you land get the flag take it away just as a tank shoots the damaged engine and you crash (the pilot would die but they could make it so that passengers only lose there shields unless close to the are athat hits the ground or something (im talking splash damage to show that people inside are injured as well as the dead pilot. also you could have a co pilot for the main gun in front. so pelican would be 3 person like warthog except no one is left as a passenger. it would be awsome!
