Hmm... At the risk of sounding like an idiot, do you members out there think the MC is dead? John-117 was born on the year of 2511. At the end of the war (which I'm presuming was 2552), the masterchief is 41 years old. In the year 2610 the MC has yet to be found as the UNSC finish his statue on this year. Is it possible the Masterchief is never found? On the year 2610, the MC is 99 years old. Kind of old to still fight for the UNSC...

You make some good points.  However, here are some things that would counter this statement. 

First off, I'd like to point out that even though the monument is complete in 2610, It began in 2607.  It is possible then that Master Chief is found between there.  However, He may never have returned to earth. If we knew the date he reached that random planet, we would know so much more.
