the taming of hunter was when the Sangheile and San 'Shyuum the first joined and while they were out on their dredknot (spelling) and were sercing for forunner artifacts and found a gas planet that was full of the artifacts but when they got there they only found pieces of the artifacts because the Lekgolo had eaten it so the San 'Shyuum where outraged and wanted to kill them all but the Sangheili decided aganst it and thought that they should tame them for future times.
