Shiroi_Okami:What you have to remember is that this is an RTS. Although in the fps/books, the spartans II's without shields might just be 'glorified marines', in an rts, each unit has health, armour etc. Certain weapons do certain amounts of damage, and that damage is reduced by how much armour the defending unit has. You can't headshot people in an rts. If a marine had 100 health, a spartan would have more, and more armour, which would make them much stronger in an rts. If, in fact, as NT says, it is just one squad of spartans present on harvest, then I imagine they would be deployed more like hero units than actual infantry. And as everyone knows, heroes in rts' defy all laws of damage by surviving enough hits to kill an entire battalion of normal units.
i never said anything about harvest, this game isn't about the reclamation of harvest, in fact harvest reclamation had ended before this game began

ODST1:well if you've seen the preview there sre going to be SPARTANS, OMEGAS, there shoould be about 70 of them in 2525
only 33 Spartans were left after training and half of them became ill that is why only 33 were left then second group of Spartans came and only 40 were released but they had not been borne in the time Halo wars starts.
wtf are you talking about? 33 of the original 75 SPARTAN-IIs made it through, and they were in perfect health, 12 others were crippled and the rest dead. It's not bee shown whether there were any survivors of SPARTAN-II CLASS-II
No there are 8 left in halo3 they were stuck in a forruner shield world they could not escape and they had Dr hasley and Mendez's read ghost of onex. in Halo Wars theirs about 30 left so end of story.
We die like true Spartans.
