    Armories

i think that u should be able to send your marines and all infantry really (including spartans) to the armory where u can select the squads weapons and choose how many of what u wouldjust have to pay a certain price for each weapon

like a squad starts with all assualt rifles and u send them to the armory and give 2 a Br 1 a rocket 1 a sniper and 1 a anti air rocket and let the rest keep their assault rifles and then u pay a certain amount for each weapon upgraded

this could probly also work with armor

It all sounds good, but my idea was a little more easy to do.

To see it go to New Control Idea For Infantry.

    Re: Armories

Yeah would be cool if you could do this, but the Covenent would have to be able to do it too.

    Re: Armories

I thihnk that would be a little too time consuming (in the way ive imagined it) and in the heat of battle you can't realy faff about much. Maybe you could just get upgrades a la Age of Mythology's armour (eg copper weapons become shotguns. Armour is universal) and send what marines you want to have shotguns or rockets into a certain door. It's probably already been talked about though.

All of your "new" stuff is actually really old and already discussed stuff.

    Re: Armories

It was an admitting tital that I made on purpose, but read the thread and you will see that it is very very alaborated ulike others like

"I think you should be able to customize your units at the armory with weapons.  That's all I have to say and thank you for your time" that are all over the place.  Just because it has been said before does not mean a person can make another post being serious and giving it alot of thought and reference to the vid doc.

    Also, that's 3 words not 4...

    Re: Armories

Why would Marines have to pay for their own guns? Normally I wouldn't expect all the Marines to have the same expertise in using every weapon there is unless the UNSC cross-train all their guys. There's riflemen, sniper, demolitions/anti-armor, armored division... A rifle is standard issue for everyone in just about every military, so the idea of wanting to equip everyone with a rocket launcher or sniper doesn't make sense.

    Re: Armories

That's why you need to look at mine, the marines there can be upgraded for free based apon experience.
