    Good UNSC Strategy

I'm really stuck on finding a UNSC strategy to win. It must be quick so I tried the rush. I lost that match and it was against an easy difficulty AI. Any ideas?

    2 word. Canister boom.

4x HSP ( heavy supply pads) 2x R (reactors) + VD ( vehicle Dept) upgrade reactor start canister destroy single reactor build another VD and double pump tanks should work untill your TS 24

yeah, never go marines, unless ur trying to get hooks. also, vultures are a support unit, not a stand alone army.

    Re: Good UNSC Strategy

Vultures are not that good! They are slow and expensive and the cryobomb makes them worse!
    Instead use 3 spartans! 3x300 = 900

Spartans are great against rebel bases and due the shield you have a abiltiy to retreat when there shiels are low.
    Recharge and attack again.

I use this a lot because you also can hijack ealy incoming vehicles/aircrafts!

But you will need techlevel 1 to develop them.
    So start with 2 S.P. 1 reactor 1 barrack

    Re: Good UNSC Strategy

If I put those 2 ideas together, it would mean I would have 3 spartan and vultures. Sounds great, but a lot of supplies. Also cant just have 3 spartans cause what if they have scorpion/locust? Then I would need a Vulture or two. Both good ideas, but when put together, almost unbeatable! Thanks you two. I wonder if anyone else has a kick-ass strategy?

    Re: Good UNSC Strategy

best possible army for 3v3 is 1 vulture 3 spartans in wolverines 2 scorpions 3 hornets 4 odsts

this leaves you with 10 pop to drop odst if they attack somewhere far away from your army

    Re: Good UNSC Strategy

I put every idea in this thread together, and I won with it 5 times in a row! It is a completely unique strategy, and just when your enemies think they know your base, it changes!!!! No joke! If anyone wants to know it just ask!

    Re: Good UNSC Strategy

I'm a mid level player, using Prophet mainly.  There is a technique for stopping Prophet rushes using 3 spartans you might like to know.

First up there should be a couple of flame turrets.  This will force the Prophet to mount his attack on your base's blind spot. Don't panic, let him attack supply pads, until you have 3 spartans.  Then send them out and have them concentrate fire on the Prophet (don't get too close).  If he wants to beam them he'll have to get close, retreat them towards your flame turret so Prophet comes into range and gets extras damage.

If he starts sending in honour guards again retreat your spartans towards a turret so the guards will get flamed by it.

If he makes the mistake of sending in Wraiths or Locusts jack them.

The Prophet is strong, so a spartan can easily die during this.  Just replace it.

Do this well and the Prophet will take a lot of damage, and have to recall.

Good one, but I'm gonna stick with my strategy. Thanks, though. My UNSC strategy is ultimate.
