    Fort Deen: best strats

I have been wondering for a long time what the most successful strat is on Fort Deen.

For a while i thought it was the one involving Anders, Cutter, and Forge, where forge goes cobras and locks down behind the shield wall, with wolves in the bask and Spartans in the wall. Anders goes hawks for harassment and quick reinforcements, while Cutter goes ODSTs for the main assult, which will be backed up by cobras, wolves, and hawks.

FYI, this thread is searching for UNSC strats that actually work. So please, dont tell me to go all cyclopses or something similar...

    Re: Fort Deen: best strats

if you want a real answer two covie on this map is pretty good (one hopfully a POR) because it allows you to rush quickly on a 3v3 map by useing the teleporter and gives you big crates respawns by taking ou the middle. while they harrass somone who is UNSc builds up tanks or air or somthing that will bring the enemy team down by a steamroll, just a basic strat really.

also for some tips dont bother controlling the middle or energy walls they arent really that useful.

keep constant pressure if one person goes banshee's and harrassing it's VERY effective on this map because of how big it is and also ebcause it's hard for wolves to get to them in the back of the bases and stops expansions and can cause a real big pain in the but.

kill the middle rebels at energy wall for crates if you dont plan to rush with either a covie leader or warthogs it will most defeintly help.

try using one base for your rush and attack and if your first real attack fails then expand, most people are confused on when to expand but I believe doing it that way is helpful, you dont even have to expand really but...

just make sure your the agreesive one and to use the teleporter to the best of uit's ability (dont bother with things like large groups of infantry or tanks because it will take longer then just marching them across

the UNSc dont suck here at all. if you mean a strat for a UNSc teamate or you the UNSc player and not overall there is always forge buolds for canister

5 supply pads, upgrade base, get two reactors, upgrade one reactor, recycle a SP for factory and get canister then sell single reactor adn get another factory and make canister tanks two at a time

or you can bduel produce hornets where you go five supply pads and upgrade base and get a reactor and upgrade it then sell one SP for another air pad and make hornets two at a time.

or any other UNSc help your covie rush with warthogs by going supply pad reactor while building hogs straight at start till you have 3 then get gunner and help covie rush and keep maknig hogs, it's cheap and helps the early game while you still come bak middle game with somthing stronger like tanks.

dont make cobras, there pretty useless, wolves are ok but not really nessicar yunless air is made

agree hunters plus jackals would poop all over this. not to mention yopu want your spartans in vehicles and odst in the walls. A wall drops, so does an odst to replace it immediately and hopefully cutting some enemy units right in half. Spartans needed in cobras and wolves to get veterancy. Either way its a Fail strat without a covenant on your team.

ur supposed to build 4 sps not 5. b/c of diminishing returns you'll end up losing money on the 5th SP

    Re: Fort Deen: best strats

I usually will get 2 base and ODST by 7 min. Then I start making cobras and wolves and research reinforcements. I always try to leave 20 slots open for ODST. I drop 2 at the middle, and lock down my cobras and wolves. I garrison another at the tele exit, then spam them out to the above platform. Usually try to rocket out all their SP's and reactors. Then 1-2 min when I take out a few SP, I'll spam in more odst, rocket, and 4x mac blast.

Also, I'll always try to drop in ODST at any ally assault.

    Re: Fort Deen: best strats

Fort Deen is HIGHLY divided. This makes getting reinforcements from point A to point B very difficult to do in a hurry. Air units are king. I usually play as the Prophet, so on Fort Deen, when my allies go Double Forge and pump Tanks + Wolves, it works really well.

I pour all power into stopping a rush with my prophet, and it is usually enough to stop all but an all out enemy assault. If my allies are allowed to get their Wolves + Tanks, then they continually smash the enemy bases while I get another base, and pump a full pop of Banshees.

Banshees and a Prophet with Regret's Condemnation is great for killing bases. The Forges can keep 'em off your base in the meantime.

    Regret's Condemnation is STUPIDLY powerful.

    Re: Fort Deen: best strats

If you are Cutter, go for ODST+ Cobras.  While Upgrading Wolverines for when they counter your Cobras.Max out your Mac Blast too in order to stop Covies.

If you are Forge, go for Griz and Cobras. While Upgrading Wolverines.

If you are Anders, go for Hawks with maxed out Cryo Bomb.

Use banshees to deny expansions, out-boom them. All there is to it.
