lol ur just a bk, you need bo in 1v1 if you want to go top 100. building placement as well as build order plays a huge role to prevent hog harrasment and the best counter attack. the most used ander bo as made famous by fj, 2 hogs sp r gunner b, is good because it allows for a wide range of counters. you are just bad at 1v1.

...? I did that day 1, its not a FJ thing. Also its sonly on hook maps, and there are x10 better builds. Thats why he maxed out at 43 TS while a good anders will make it to 50

Top 100 you dont need a build to do anything, okay.

I just picked up ones about 2 weeks ago, I have no build, and i am 112 now, your saying I cant make the next 12 spots without a build? Lol, I dont have one, and I bs everything as I go and it works

lol good luck on getting that 50 with already so many loses against bad players (skcuSsraWolaH). fyi, cookie just conformed what I said about BO and building position. ur such a bk...

ouch... was that really necessary, i consider myself pretty good or at the very least not a bad player (im srawolahkcuf),

if you are referring to the game that i had against that arbiter i know what i did wrong and i doubt i would lose to the same strategy i just didnt expect him to have jackels so quickly and instead of taking out the jackals coming out i attempted to take out the whs coming up, i also made a bunch of other mistakes that game

if you are referring to a game i had against you then gg

sorry about that, i was carried away. and i also noticed i spelled ur name wrong, well what ever. i just hate how arragant he is...

you are a good player i was out of line to call you bad. I was actually thinking of a different person's stats that i checked around the same time as i checked yours. im sorry that I made asumptions. i don't know who that arbiter that beat you wass but he seems good.

I know you are just poking fun and not being nasty (unlike stupid frog) but a one month is worth nothing in comparison to a full run down of how to go about high level 1v1,2v2 and 3v3 play. I actually enjoy teaching, Im doing a bachelor of business at university and getting high enough grades to be tutoring and the university is approaching me to consider being a lecturer, I do enjoy teaching but doing a doctorate is like 5 more years of study and possibly a 100,000 word PHD, so i will fufil my enjoyment of teaching somewhere else.

    Re: PoRvsAnders

Build order and placement is important. Playing on instinct will only get you so far. You need to have a plan to reach the highest levels. Even a crappy plan is better than no plan. If event A occurs, you need to have a counter ready, if event B occurs, you need to have counter B ready. Early game plan A needs to lead to end game plan A or B, so long term plan is also important. RTS games are kinda like chess, you will never get past the intermediate skill level without a solid plan. Even if you have the best micro or instinctive play in the world, you still won't win.

If you really want to get good at the game, write down your strat on paper exactly and branch off the different scenarios. Then follow the branches on your paper depending on how the game goes. Focus on the ideal branch and then take other routes if things don't go the way you want. Sounds nerdy, but it "really" helps if you want to win. Tree diagrams work best :)

Those kind of techniques allow you to play better than everyone else but with only 1/3 the play time (so you can have a life). I hardly play the game (i'm not even remotely close to general with all accounts added up) but i still beat most people because of having a solid plan on paper.

btw, before you call me a big nerd........i'm in an engineering major. I enjoy playing games this way (ie: theorizing, designing, etc..). Plus i'm a former chess player (AZ champ at 11 yrs old  :)
