Aloysius:Do full pop Grizzlies vs. Wraiths with both players microing properly and give us the results.
So... I did do full pop Grizz (13) vs Wraiths (16)... um... it was sad for me since I was the Wraith player >.<
Lost 16 Wraiths for 5 Grizz kills...
So
what do you mean by proper micro? I focus fired Scorch on a foremost
Grizz whenever possible while backing up to make other Grizzes run over
the Scorched ground (maximizing damage and dodging a few canisters
while maximizing mortar hit rate). So I'd say that's good micro... oh
yeah, I managed to pull out ~2 red health Wraiths to regain shield b4
coming back into the fight (doing this was harder than normal because
it was full pop vs full pop).
I realize that UNSC would have
spent more time and ~3000 more resources getting his army up ready.
It's just that I thought there'd be something like 5 (not 8) Grizzes
surviving with good health (90+%) that can counter attack. With 8
Grizzes able to counter attack, the Cov would pretty much lose right
then and there...
Summary: Scorch needs more instant damage (edit: mortars need more accuracy?), otherwise Wraiths are perfect for their cost.

just watched tomanator's video, my thought: if Wraiths aren't the ones
backing off, they get raped more than if they were against Grizzes lol

micro only benefits the UNSC in this case because a) Scorp hit rates
are too high for Wraith movement to affect it much and b) regaining
shield is nullified by Canister recharging...
