I really hate it when a game gets Messianic status. It makes me not want to buy it, though it did look relevant to my interests.

Be that as it may, the other 99% of game devs still are greedy, and I can't say that I was ever a half life fan (they did half life right?), but L4D2 is gold IMO.

I've been banned about 5 or 6 times now, as well as two other accounts that got perma banned. He also IP banned me once, but resetting it is easy enough and he hasn't tried again since.

I've only ever deserved 2 of those bans. I even apologized when I did deserve it.

IW has reason to be so because they have been stolen from...

It was they, before they were officially Infinity Ward that made Medal of Honor successful with Medal of Honor: Allied Assault ('twas kickass online on the clan Hellzfire server). And then they branched off and made Call of Duty (Published by Activision), and then later on Treyarch starts taking over IW's pet project (With CoD3 and the subsequent WaW, which IW was none too happy about seeing as how they started the franchise and made it what it was.
