    In an potential upcoming title update we are investigating making the following balance changes to Halo Wars, as such I am opening up for feedback as we continue work on refining our balance pass.

     

    Balance Changes

    1. Buffing the Scarab from a fully upgraded tech level 3 Covenant unit to a "super" tech unit on par with Grizzly's, Hawks and ODST.

    Does that mean more damage and health? D[b]amn skippy yes.[/b]

    2. Buffing the Hunters Assault Beam upgrade so that Hunters can track fast moving vehicles like warthogs.

    YES.  Finally, this would be amazing.

    3. Fixing the Grunt squads needler upgrade so that they keep their damage bonus against Air craft.

    Yuuuuussss

    4. Nerfing the Arbiter during Rage so that he takes more damage from attacks.

    ...Meh.  Arbiter already gets stomped by early-game infantry spam.  He is HARDLY an issue in rage.  Even at T3.  16 jackals can take down a 1 star T2 Arbiter with ease.  Trust me, I've done it.  Yes, while the Arbiter was ready and 100% HP.  I thought Leaders were supposed to be powerful?  Arbiter is the worst leader in 1v1--if anything he needs a buff.  Not to rage, though.

    5.  Nerfing the Gremlin by adjusting the vehicle and its upgrades up one tech level, making Gremlins a tech level 2 vehicles with the first upgrade available at tech 3 and the final upgrade at tech 4.

    ...Again meh.  They should be able to be built at T1.  However, the stun comes with the T2 upgrade, Range/Damage at T3, and Chain Amp at T4

    We are still adjusting final numbers on these changes and investigating other changes so we want feedback on these changes and other suggestions for other changes or bugs that need fixing.

    -Less than half a of percent of players have the General rank on Xbox Live.


    How is the General rank fair again?

    Halo Fanboys. The next most annoying thing next to Jonas Brothers fanboys.

    BUFFING THEM AMONG ALL TEIRS WOULD BE GREAT TOP LEVEL GAMES WILL ALMOST NEVER GET TO ASSAULT BEAM

    4. Nerfing the Arbiter during Rage so that he takes more damage from attacks.

    OMG NO!!!!!!!!! HE IS UP IN 1V1 AND DOES NOT NEED A NERF.

    AT LEAST KEEP THEM BEING ABLE TO BE BUILT AT TECH 1. ANOTHER SOLUTION WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER.

     wraiths need a buff. id suggest a bit more damage and a lot more accuracy.

     

    buff to covy turrets or return of the blues clues 

     

    i use caps lock because i cant get bold to work.

    Technically it's an "easter egg" and those aren't allowed for Xbox 360 games.

    Technically it's an "easter egg" and those aren't allowed for Xbox 360 games.

    There's Easter Eggs on Halo 1/2/3, GTA 4, and BF: 1943.

    Would have to agree with others about a Cyclops buff, chopper buff, and such. 

    I also would say that the Arbiter is not overpowered, but rather to hard to target due to lag/randomness.  If he was easier to target, I think many (new) players would have an easier time in taking him down.

    Dear Robot suicide grunts do not work half the time, they just stand still, since they do not have many hit points this is a game changer. Fix this or leave the arby as is.

    Good changes overall. I like them all.

    The arbiter nerf is fine as well. Considering that it's probably far harder to fix the problem of targeting him as he's raging, this is the next best thing: Making the shots that DO hit him count for more.

    buff choppers, buff cyclops, fix a few unit glitches.

    We need a leaderboard reset, many good players have quit all together, oh, and we need to ban boosters or else leaderboard reset=booster-mania.

    I think this game is getting pretty close to overrall balance.

    It is only fine gentlemen who can't stop an arbiter, why should good players suffer game changes made to help lesser skilled players.

    No anders can't beat UNSC and is going to be having a hard time to stop a simple wraith rush, that is not balance.

    I am better than you and barely use suicide grunts, but think any unit refusing to move needs to be fixed.
