i cant figure out what to do against covy manly brute and prophet.

first off all i dont know exactly how to do a ehg rush.

i dont know if you go t wh wh wh wh or wh t wh wh wh

i dont know when im sapose to attack

i dont know if im sapose to grab blessed and if so how do i do that while pumping ehg

 

against a brute if ehg rush i simply get out building damaged and if i defend with it then i dont know what to build after i stop it. 

are wraiths good in covy matches.  

 

mainly i just dont know what to do after a ehg rush. 

 

against  anders i cant hold my hooks. she simply runs around with her hogs and kills my ehg in there.

I always go Temple first.  The supplies collected + early hooks is pretty win.  On maps like Tundra and Release, I go and get some earlier harassment than usual.  For PoR mirrors, it's as simple as Beam Rifle Jackal spamming, and perhaps some Ram Ghosts mixed in to soak up some damage from your jackals.  Try to harass him into building turrets or a way to early SG and then early-expand.  Out Eco him.

For Brute, try to EHG rush him--go Hall 4th and get shield.  Start to pump in jackals to deal with the BC and possible Brutes.  Worse case scenario, he starts to Vortex your units and wastes all his early money.   If your shields are getting low, just run away around his base and play keep away until they go up and keep porting in jackals.

i have been avoiding factorys cuz im afraid to use wraiths which leaves me vulnarable to air, cuz i wont have ghosts. but if i can make wraiths then i have infintry covered with them and leaders covered with ehg and ghosts to cover air.

Factory's are great, but more so in team games. Stick to halls and Summits, those are pretty much all you'll need. However, I played a 1v1 against a prophet who treated ghosts as warthogs, and it was amazing. Unfortunately for him I was anders and gauss ruins his strategy.

He went factory first, Ghost, Ghost, WH, WH, WH, Temple and he played great, but there wasn't much he could do with that strategy against Anders. Try that against covenant, I'm sure it would be amazing against the prophet and Brute.

WH T WH gives you an early economy, and most people use that. Temple WH is fine, but it depends on which map your on because their might not be many crates near your base. And WH Temple allows you to get Blessed Immolation right when your prophet comes out. WH Temple Shield doesn't DESTROY your economy, it weakens it, but that's a whole lot better than SGs running into your base.

And I said there are better units to make than Wraiths, but they are good in certain situations.

I initially rushed him my prophet 2 ehg( i thought that stood for elites grunts and ghosts and i tried it with grunts and elites lol) and a few jackals. with microing from jackals I killed his IB prophet and had a few jackals left. He locked his base and proceeded to build jackals. He unlocked his base took out my remaining jackals and tried to kill my prophet but i teleported back to base.

i made jackals and HS wraiths and i went to his base only to find his prophet somewhere clearing a base I used the wraiths to kill T1 jackals and moved wraiths to the back of his base. i send my prophet jackals and 1 wraith to kill his prophet. my 3 other wraiths are at the back of his base mowing down his shield. He teles back his base and kills 1 wraith while the other two wraiths are circling his base. I send all my jackals to kill his BI prophet. I leave 1 wraith and prophet to claim base that he left. by this time his shields are down i have 3 wraiths left my prophet hasn't died at all and a couple of squads of jackals he resigns. my wraiths work wonders, sort of
