    The Babysiter. Halo anime

Honostly the first episode was a big let down and was extreamly canon inacurite. Why does it have to be so. I won't spoil anything for anybody but i have already found many canon errors.!! Plus it was just ***.

What a surprise. A halo anime didn't work. Now there's something I'd never have expected.

And even more surprising, a new halo anything that breaches canon.

    Re: The Babysiter. Halo anime

I loved it; all my fears about 343 not being able to handle Halo are vanished. There seemed to be a few errors though, such as the fact that the marine at the end knew about the Spartan's death -- but then again, the ODSTs probably told him.

I have to say though, way too predictable twist with the Spartan being a woman. As soon as I saw that the Spartan didn't speak, I knew near the end the helmet would come off to reveal a woman.

Her face looked a little delicate to be a Spartan though :/

As for the Forerunner ruins which looked like Japanese buildings...yeah. Artistic license. Go with it.

I thought it was very enjoyable, and I eagerly await next fortnight's episode.

OP, what canon issues did you find?

About the architecture, it leads me to believe that the humans copied it from the ancients. Halo wars spartan red team lives. Are there no more spartans to kill? Or one more?

I liked it. And I'm not at all an Anime fan, but I thought it worked well. I do like the fact that they used some Halo Wars styles for the Spartan, Grutns, Brute, etc.

It's official, straight from the mouth of an employee who works on Halo.

    The Covenant eat planets.

No, I meant in that she had no scars and the like. I know they Spartans are pale, but you can be pale and war torn.

Me and another guy at B.net totally sorted out the whole Spartan dying problem.

Well, its official, MS doesn't care about continuity.

Let's kill yet another Spartan that can't actually die.

It's obvious that Cal was just pretending to be dead; after the ODSTs leave, ONI Section 0 comes and rescues her. It's all a conspiracy.

Maybe she just wanted the idiot ODST to feel horrible becuase he was so incompetent he got somebody killed? Later she gets rescued, gets together with the rest of the Spartans and complains about the idiot regular humans they have to work with?

Few of the spartans were women. And anyway, if the UNSC lost spartans on such routine missions, humanity would have been crushed years ago.

Though yes, Spartans were never paired up with any soldier(in case they died, and if they did they would be deemed MIA) except maybe very high ranking soldiers. The fact their were japenese architecture on an alien planet just pissed me off.

The Master Chief worked with the 105th at Delta Halo. The same 105th the soldiers Cal worked with in that episode belonged to.

And as for the Japanese stuff, it's artistic licence. Just go with it mate.
