I don't know how it works in the US, but in Australia the Navy you know, defends our country before the enemy can even get to where the army can fight them.
Just saying. They have to get past the navy before they can take on the army, unless the army is attacking them, in which case it's sort of not defending your country so much as attacking another.
I agree with bass. There's nothing racist about saying Jap, it's just a shortened version of Japanese.
That's like saying that calling someone an Aussie is racist. It's just... not.
