I would say that the locust, wolv, vulture, hawk (maybe) and vampire could be added

and dark, this is halo, spawning with a sniper rifle would imbalance the game, its halo, not call of duty (although with the perks Is more like call of halo, still, no sniper for you!)

it's just so frustrating when those damned nubs somehow manage to grab it before I can, and then they waste all 12 rounds shooting at hogs, which would be fine if they could actually snipe the gunner off, but they can't.

And also, back when I was a sniper nub, the experts never let me touch it, so it took forever to become decent. It sucks from both ends of the spectrum.

As I said before, It would have to be re-balanced. Such as no-scopes would have to be way harder (Nigh impossible) to get, or make it a bolt action sniper...

YEah, I like CoD, what's the matter with that. I used to be a Halo fanboy myself, but then I saw the light.

go play cod then, they are both good in their own ways, and halo is old school, while cod is new school  (shooter that is)

I like Halo, and Iove CoD4 (and soon CoD: MW2)

A hybrid of the two games would be kickass.

But this is a Halo game, not a CoD game.

If they're the same, then what's the point of them?

Also, ripping off other games is bad...

That said, it would be pretty good.

    It just wouldn't be Halo.

Incorporating standard FPS elements isn't "ripping-off" other games. And it could still be a Halo game while still incorporating those elements. Same as HW is a Halo game, even though it is an RTS. It's the universe and atmosphere as well as the game engine itself that [will] make the game a Halo game.

Any word on how this game runs?

    30 FPS or 60 FPS?

30 FPS os so backwater and hurts the eyes...It had better be 60. I remember playing 30 FPSs on my Gamecube...it was ridiculously obvious when I got my xbox.

It's something you won't notice until you see the exact same gameplay at both speeds. Since I had a Gamecube and my buddy had an xbox (original) I got to see the difference quite often. Apparently my poor old gamecube couldn't manage anything higher than 30 FPS (generally speaking), whereas the mammoth that the xbox was for its time was able to run most games at a significantly higher frame rate.

Slightly choppy is the best that I can describe it as.

The movement speed in 30 FPS is pretty slow.

The movement speed in 60 FPS is pretty fast.

Gotcha. So in this term FPS stands for Feet Per Second, not First Person Shooter.

That was highly confusing for me, for some reason.

    I hope you're joking...

This "FPS" = Frames Per Second... at least that's what I'm talking about...
