I needed help beating top Anders players in 3v3 UA so I asked, and I found it mathematically impossible to beat warthogs using Forge at the time, now they are NO problem, nerfs do wonders.

I didn't play 1v1 until a couple weeks before reset.

I had been visiting the forums since it had been announced, but never felt like getting an account until the game came out.  I didn't feel like delving into the what ifs and buts about the game until I actually had a copy to play.  Ended up joining a month before the game came out though.

"I'm here because I'm a fan of Halo, and a fan of RTS, and as a result thought that a Halo RTS would be just about the most epic thing ever when I first heard about the game. Now I'm so-so as far as liking halowars goes, although I've only ever played one game on the demo, so meh. Maybe if they manage to avoiding blowing canon into a million tiny pieces in the next one.

I was lurking (is that the correct term for watching a forum but not having an account) here on and off since early 08 to see how the game developed, and I came to like the forums. When a significant number of members who I respected left and the forums were flooded with fine gentlemen, I decided to make an account to try and bring some semblance of order to the forums where I posted, but they have ended up righting themselves of their own accord after a while. There's still a little ways to go, but we're almost back at a very good level. 

There was something else I was going to say, but I forgot it... 

Also, I plan to get a 360 at the end of the year, but atm I'm in year 12 (last year of high school before university, generally considered the most important year of school here), and so either wouldn't have time to play and so might as well save money by buying later, or would spend time playing when I should be studying. Either way, it's better if I wait til the end of the year to get one."

Spartan, excellent to see an 06'er still managing to get on here :) But, say goodbye to that sig, it's gone as soon as Aloysius sees it... Your sig makes me really happy for some reason, like an image of a golden age that I wish I was still in... *Sigh* I wish 08 had gone on forever.

 Anywho... I first saw the forums when, looking up news of Halo 3 in 06, I saw a Halo Wars trailer. Needless to say, dancing around in my underwear ensued. I searched Halo Wars on Google to glean more, and discovered the forums. I took one look at the homepage, and then never went there again. I somewhat recalled there being a Halo Wars forum when I got bored of Halo 3, so I came there to bide my time for Halo Wars. I saw the Halo Verse and as I browsed down it, I saw my first ever FF by... Captain Cazador. And that was all it took for ideas to race through my head, until I was writing. And the very things I write and the section devoted to them and the works of others are all that keep me here now.
