I happened to have my warthog behind my opponents base the other night. I also just happened to look at my warthog when I saw a cryo bomb drop on a building reactor, so I knew what they were doing. I happened to have 4 tanks already, 3 with spartans, so I attacking the cheating ***. Since he was trying this new awesome glitch (sarcasm), he did not have any units out yet, so he got owned. I also sent him a message and filed a complaint against him for cheating. This should not be tolerated in any way. I have no respect for people who cheat online. If you wanna cheat in a single player game that fine, but when you bring other live players looking for a bit of fun, and then use cheats (or "exploits" as cheaters call them to make it sound less harsh) to gain the upper hand, well then you truly have problems.
I am an avid gamer, and have been for the past 16 some odd years. Every time I log online, I wanna get on, own some people (or get owned) and have some laughs with my friends. People that log on every day looking to improve their leaderboard position are fine too; it's when these same people log on and improve their leaderboard position by cheating or boosting. This is where some games are just better off without a leader board, and just a fun ranking system. I will never be in the top 100 or probably in the top 1,000, but I love halo wars and have a great time playing with my friends.
