Look at this. I'm not showing off.
For the game's summary, he went with early hogs. He rushed my base while I had two Spartans in lockdown. I unlocked them when the third finished and pushed him back and losing my turret. I went to get my hook and captured it and proceded to his base, checking for gremlins and such. I got cryoed and rammed to death. I stoped researching flame adherent and sent a hog to check his hook, empty. I sent my flamers over and took it and was soon ambushed by spartans and hogs. I had an elephant and some marines and pelicaned them over to the hook, just avoiding 5 gauss hogs and landing before he got the hook. For some odd reason, he hadn't gone flamers. My rpgrines held the hook while I got my attack force ready. It was 3 teir 2 elephants, 2 tanks, and infantry. Looked down at the base and it was gg from there.
Granted they weren't the best(late hogs though), but I think I helped you understand the importance of elephants and infantry in these games. Just remember, your countering flamers with flamers, gremlins/hogs with marines, and other stuff with marines, spartans, and mac blasts. This was my Spartan rush build(rush to spartans, not their base) If you make it to late game, do this.
