Stud...why do you keep giving Cutter tips? You really aren't good with him.

Playing Cutter is like playing Anders on extra hard mode. Your only advantage is that you can try to double base better than anyone else and you have a great late game. Mid game is a fail. Cutter also can't do an anders mirror. Your best bet with cutter is hogs->expand/spartan tanks/spartan hornets. Infantry only if the enemy is booming or there are hooks on the map, and vs UNSC, don't let them jack it.

If you're facing a good cutter on Pirth--I'd be scared no matter what.  Dual Base build would scare me.

it was a while ago but it was a blood gulch and i just got rpg marines and elephant to capture all the hooks and then rolled tanks while spamming rpg marines

I'm thinking of going covie now after getting out done on the warthog rush by an anders player... Ander's has the mathematical advantage via upgrade time and cost... but i would love to figure out how to effectively use cutter ... i've seen some of the top rated cutter players have a ~50% survival rate with their infantry ... i have a more dismal percentage. 

However it would seem to me that that the "trick" is to somehow upgrade infantry and elephant fully before ever making one.. i just can't think of an eco existing that would sustain you through a warthog rush several defensive skirmishes and a final win while spending that kind of dough at each tech level... i've been testing against a.i. and i'm not sure of where else to turn other than opening with a early warthog rush . and subsequently moving on to vehicles in order to make use of the hard counters ...
