Ronin 3000:on hook maps, supposedly yes. however, the top arbiters ive played on pirth have not gone temple first. here is one i saved because my opponent was on the top arbiter leaderboard at the time. this guy (elit fresh), flint gi joe, and pubda bear all did not go temple first.

They are not actually very good players. Arbiter's that go Temple first on Pirth have the best chance of beating an Anders, because they can put their Ghost at one path & their Arbiter can intercept the other. But even if the Arbiter went Temple third because he was trying something new, the Anders player is still harming herself by getting both those Reactor there and then. Firstly, because her economy is too weak to need Tech 2 and second because the Arbiter can take it back pretty easily before you can get a Reactor for Tech 3 (and that's the only way Barrack first could ever pay for itself).

i don't go barracks first on my main on pirth. i do it on my 2nd base. or were you addressing studmuffin?

off topic: your buddy, kankersore challenged me to an anders mirror and said that he would rape me because you taught him how to play, but i 2-0'd him lol. guess you didn't teach him enough, eh?

I haven't taught him anything haha? He added me to teach eachother DM and S, but it never happened. We just trash talk eachother instead.

And I guess I was. I just read your post as a reason to go Barracks first since Temple first was an argument against it :P

im very very suprised that people are saying that i am a "decent" player, because in all honestly i suck really bad at anders mirrors, u totally outplayed me for most of that match.

i do want to play you again so that its not an anders mirror :P, maybe i will try and play a leader i suck at :L, or u could change and try a new leader lol.

you wouldnt believ how hard it can be to find a decent match in MM, I ahve 4 losses this week and two are disconects and one is because I had to be somwhere, only one is legit and it was against another anders and I was stupid ang got cocky and warthog rushed him thinking, lol bet this is a fine gentleman not smart enough to make gremlins...well, he did and so it ended in a 15 min utes match of gremlins and hog spam with some ifnantry mixed in, pretty fun

Something Legit:its an art, but i seem to fend it off with less than a fourth of hp left on my base consistantly against higher level play

it's probably less risky with cutter, but risky nonetheless. id rather scout for my opponent's WH, T build before i claim my early base with anders.

well if you scout, there warehouse will be 50% done maybe more by the time you start your first base, i would rather get more pads up on the base the 2nd pad gives it a lot more health so if you get that up by the time they came you would be at a huge advantage where as if you scout first yu lose a valuable 15-20 seconds

queue up the base on the way to their base no matter what. if you scout the WH first build, great. if you see temple first, delete your second base for a full refund. it's foolproof.

@ronin good idea but its impossible for them to kill your base, it really is. if you keep making trades even killing 3 jackals per 4 flamers you make, eventually you will catch up because more pads. even 2 flamers a brute

The risk is an illusion. The illusion being that you're vunerable early game. It's not true, they can hammer at your base with four Hogs and even bring in Marines, but getting a quick Supply Pad for health and then a Barracks for Flamers (if they do go Marines) or Tech is enough health to survive long enough to get Gremlins out, which also beat Marines w/o RPG. The fact you look so weak is actually an advantage versus decent players, because they do tend to go Hogs to kill the base and usually Marines to take it down both of which are false economies because your base won't drop before you outnumber him.
