Ronin 3000: WaffenSS Killer: Ronin 3000: WaffenSS Killer: orcle: studmuffin: orcle: studmuffin:well I tried useing vultures against an anders once...didnt go well...did anyone else know 5 guass hogs take out a vulture becuase I for sure as hell didnt >:(
wat? you can kill quite few hogs with vultures as long as you are over a cliff or something
well the hogs had some spartans in them with the chaingun upgrade but ya vulture vs 5 guass hogs vulture loses. and it was in open battle with little micro on either side
as long as the hogs can't get under the vulture, the vultures quite good. they kill gauss hogs in like 3 shots and it has 2 cannon
6 x Gauss Hogs = 900 Resources
1 x Vulture = 900 Resources.
Hogs soft counter air, so they should naturally win, but only barely.
This is a balanced match.
vultures are tech 4, so in theory 6 gauss hogs should lose to one vulture, but they don't.
uber units are UP. this must be fixed in halo wars 2.
It's not all about tech level. They're soft counters.
if they are the same tech level and cost the same amount of resources, the soft counter units will win. this is the rule of soft counters. also, keep in mind that UNSC tech 3 = Covi tech 2.
True, but I tend to think that UNSC units, when teched fully, work the best against eachother. Hear me out:
Wolverines work acceptably against Hornets
Volley Wolverines work acceptably against Wingmen Hornets.
Dual Launcher Wolverines work acceptably against Chaff Pod Hornets.
^^^^^ This is an accepted fact. ^^^^^
Now, Fully teched units are a match for other fully teched units even though some units may not HAVE a tech 4 upgrade.
Such as: Gremlins and Cobras are of the same class (Anti-Vehicle). However, the Gremlin has no T4 Upgrade. The Cobra does. However, they are somewhat well balanced when facing eachother.
Maybe off base, but this is my take on it.
