Yes, I make some common mistakes similar to that. After I upgrade to volley I go ahead and self destruct my single reactor because I forget it takes tech 3 to make wolverines. Or after I upgrade to mega barrage I go ahead and self destruct every reactor I have because I forget that tech level 0 doesn't make vultures.

Those are just some of the common mistakes I make...

Forge could make Hornets or Marines. Even Cobras beat Gremlins if you spread them out and the Anders doesn't have great micro. But I agree Gremlins are a bit OP.

Hornets don't work.

Marines are meh.

Cobras work, until they're moved.

All Forge can really do is play defense until he's ready for a steamroll.

No offense to you Elecbound but Stud beating Elecbound really isn't that big of an accomplishment.. Also i doubt cheesypoof would deny a 1 v 1 against you or anyone for that matter he is a great player.
