Too bad he did quit, though. He lead designed a great game.

Indeed. I wonder why the move? Dave was in main part responsible for the mamoth Robot Entertainment lego sign. He also appeared to be "excited" about working at Robot Entertainment in phone interviews with various media websites.

Lets hope it was a leaving on good terms. :/

No worries; it was on great terms.  Robot is a great place with crazy good talent.  A huge chunk of my best friends work there:)  Just turned out to not be the right place for me and where I want to go/what I want to do.

And I can still play with Legos no matter where I am:)

Aren't you a little pissed that the contract to make HWars sets went to Megabloks and not Lego?

Jeremy W:His name and bio is now gone from the Robot website's list of employees names, so I was just curious.

Yup, I did indeed quit my job at Robot in September.

    I'm now working at Bonfire.

hey is it true that Bruce Shelly is working for Bonfire too? And do bonfire now own the AOE IP? I think this is a question that everyone wants an official explanation to: who gets to make new AOE games if any? is Robot maintaining ESO and HW until Bonfire gets on track with what they are doing then hand over the responsibility and move on with their own little projects for 'natal' (as i'm sure they are!)??    (of course i'm sure that apple will call their looming tablet device the 'imagic'  but in either case, feel free to laugh at me when im wrong! lol)

I'd like to know that too.

    If there's an age 4...

    I hope it's better than 3.

Age 3 was awesome...what was wrong with it in your opinion?

Re: Has Dave Pottingner left Robot?

I dunno about MP, I never really got into it, but AI was extremely easy even on the hardest setting.

    Campaign was terrible.

The whole explorer thing didn't do it for me.

Home city was coolish, but I didn't like the whole "The more you play, the better stuff you get, because being more experienced isn't a big enough advantage!" thing.

    Units weren't as cool.

    Unit upgrades were sorta... generic.

None of that's a real reason I didn't like it, just things I don't like about it, I more just didn't enjoy playing it compared to the other 2.
