Supposedly, there were only 150 spartans though, so how did they get 320 and 259?

well theoretically there could have been a second generation of spartan II's. theres a 6 year difference in the end time of the first gen of spartan II's and the kurt being taken for the spartan III program. the first gen took 8 years to train. so maybe the last 2 years was done without mendez or something. or they pushed the training regiment up.

I am just wondering how the storyline would have went if the spartans did not fight at Reach but went to halo with MC. Something very different indeed.

^^oh, this is why i need to reread them. but i guess they could have done it behind his back, it pretty openly hated the spartan program and its understandable they wouldnt want him to know about more stuff being done with it
