It is way to early to say, we haven't even gotten any screenshots ! The only point where we can come with a decent prediction is when the game goes gold until then, it is ready when it is ready.

probably 2008, 3-4 quarter.

^^ any know, i know this has probably been asked before but any dates as to when halo wars is going to come out, and what do you guys think will be the best feature in Halo Wars?

I just saw an article on xbox.com and it had a list of games to be released this holiday season , Halo Wars was listed!

 22nd game from the bottom of the list

It was just announced, yet we are already asking? 

It wouldn't be released close to Halo 3, for obvious reasons.  It will not be coming out this year because it was just announced.  It would have to come out somewhere around November (Bungie's traditional release date) for marketing reasons.

I would say......November 2008.  One thing is for sure, we have a while to wait.

does any one know when this is suppose to come out some people at my school and in other fourms said its going to come out after halo3 comes out and then some people say before halo 3 comes out so does any one know the date for thr game ?

Given that despite waiting almost 18 months after starting development before officially announcing Halo 3 (and here I mean Bungie's announcement and their trailer, not Bill Gates' premature pronouncements) that announcement STILL came earlier than the Halo Wars announcement, I see no reason to expect Halo Wars to be released first.

In short, Halo 3 had been in development for a year and a half when it was announced, and it was announced before Halo Wars. Halo Wars has supposedly been in development for about a year when it was announced, and it was announced after Halo 3 was.

 
So unless for some reason Ensemble is able to churn out Halo Wars in 6-12 months or so LESS than Bungie needs to do Halo 3, it is logical to assume we'll get Halo 3 first.
 

I sure cant wait to long! we need to satisfy our first for halo!, before number 3 comes out!!!
