jesus guys it was announced today and you already want a release date. As long as it isn't rushed i dont care when it is released because i am going to buy it regardless. I had goosebumps the size of the eiffel tower when i watched that.

Actually... they said it would probably be after the realase of Halo 3 in 2007.  Microsoft also signed a deal with Peter Jackson and Bungie to do a joint venture called Wingnut Interactive... which will create another game in the "Halo universe".

it won't be until 2007 cause they just released a trailer, if we're lucky it'll be early 2007 but no one will know until they want us to.

I would expect to hear a release date at E3 07.  (Or what is left of E3 07 for that matter)

I think that I am more excited for this release than Halo 3. I love the concept as basic as it is. I hope this comes out soon but not to close to the release of Halo 3. I really want to enjoy 3 before I lose myself in Halo Wars.
