New Rule on "Leaving."

    New Rule on "Leaving."

    If you make a post stating that you are leaving the forums, I will delete your account.

    This means that all of your posts will revert to an anonymous user with no signature.

    This is not retroactive (meaning that if someone already posted one, their account will not be deleted).

    Exception to this list: If you already made an "I'm leaving!" post and then continue to post, I will ban your account to help you achieve your goals.

    This is to cut down on the attention-seeking posts that serve no purpose or benefit the community.

    All posts that indicate a desire to leave the forums, or be convinced to stay, or anything in that broad category under my discretion will fall under these rules.

    Also ban boosters that come to the forums and trash talk. It always starts a flame war.

    Actually this may be a decent idea overall. I think the whole delete you "Anonymous Poster" is a bit harsh, just perma-ban. Some of these guys who may potentially leave did contribute to these forums...Useful info and as such should remain attributed to them. There shouldn't be anything wrong with saying "I'm leaving" as long as it's a sincere departing post and not just an "attention-whoring" manoeuvre.

There shouldn't be anything wrong with saying "I'm leaving" as long as it's a sincere departing post and not just an "attention-whoring" manoeuvre.

    I'm trying to discourage people from posting attention-whoring posts at all, stuff like "convince me to stay" is ridiculous. If they want to leave so badly, I will help them on their way.

    I don't think his post was about him leaving, but more about how Arby is bad in 1v1.
