after re-reading what spartan said i relize the last bit was wrong wolverfrog said something about john not being on the 1st group of spartans and yet spartan r41 said it was'nt a stupid theory so both of ya are wrong on in those 2 posts and sorry if i offended ya wolverfrog its not intended its just a figure of speech u just happen 2 say the wrong thing at the wrong time or word summert wrong

everybody knows john was in the 1st class of spartan IIs the 2nd class had trouble finding suitable subjects because of the war going on when john was already fighting the war when the 2nd class was being trained

John's was the first. It is stated in Ghosts of Onyx "(Kurt's thought's after Ackerson tells him that SPRTN II PRGM funds were...diverted)It turned out they may be the first and last SPARTAN-IIs"

The Spartan II second class was eventually initiated in 2537. The funds were diverted in 2531 to the Spartan III program, most likely by Ackerson.
