    Spartans.

Ok im just wondering after reading about spartans off of halopedia that 33 spartans made it throught there training 3 went behind enemy lines(grey team) and 25 out of 33 went to fight on reach, after the battle 3 spartans made it off reach to Installation 04 then they returned to reach to hook up with the surviving spartans surprisingly 15 spartans died while the rest where still alive and 2 li and anton died fighting to get a ships engine back online from elites sabotaging the engines. so thats 17 spartans dead 4 MIA maria, kurt and 2 others not sure,

so theres maybe 6-8 spartans survive reach and made it to earth, to protect it and then all but john went to onyx, so all the spartans go MIA including the chief. now in halo reach theres a new spartan no in the original SPARTAN II project but a 2nd SPARTAN II team was trained though not as many as the 1st lot. only one of these are known. (this is before the SPARTAN III project)

As we all know the figures are messed around in the books and games so there is no clear number on how many SPARTAN II's where really trained
So as im aware the canon of these spartans are real as there ingame, but the RED team im not so sure about are these the original spartan II team with john 117  oi am aware john does'nt appear in halo wars and i figured omega team where from the PoA orbiting arcadia at the time with the SoF so i figured those where canon spartans.

and we are told Ensemble(robot) worked closely with bungie to make this game (when we all know bungie had little to do with it) so i was hoping some mods could tell us if the spartans in game are really canon,

    And anyones views are welcome

The current canon contradicts other canon. Just wait for Bungie to make Reach, all will be explained.

    Re: Spartans.

Personally, I think that Red Team was part of the Second Spartan II class - created for the apparent allowance of new Spartans in games/stories. You did hit the nail right on the head; the numbers are confused. This leads to people disagreeing and arguing, but no one - and I repeat for certain members NO ONE - can be 100% right.

Prepare for a lot of arguing on this thread.

    Re: Spartans.

Ooo, that could be interesting. What if John's class weren't really the first Spartan IIs, he just believed they were?

Your not really into the whole disscuss a topic thing are ya i know it'll b explained when reach is released but whats wrong with talking about it now, like that elite vs ODST post and the engineers post all started by the ODST game lol

Aslong as people take it seriously i dont care what they do just when u get people saying stupid stuff like the guy sayin what if john was'nt part of the 1st spartans IIs join in it ruins the discussion

I just don't enjoy discussing topics which really have no answer. Its all so pointless and trivial. I prefer theories, rather than ultimate questions.

O chill i was messin about just u happend to be around and showing what can ruin discussions. but discussions are normally theories from diffferent people due to different points of views.

Are the spartans canon are they not what are the reasons the reasons give theories to work with to find the right answer see where im going

    Re: Spartans.

Given the knowledge of the second class of Spartan II's, and the Spartan III's being created in 2531, it's entirely possible that John's class wasn't the first Spartan II class. This is, however, unlikely. If anything, the classes were created at the same time, or perhaps a year apart. So it's not like one has a massive advantage over the other.

John is part of the 1 class of SPARTAN IIs the 2nd class where after the 1st class and john was on missions long before the 2nd class was beginning and they could'nt find alot of sutable kids for the 2nd class because of the war going on while the chief was in training before the covenant attacked as he was training mainly to stop insurrectionists and the spartan III program started when the spartan II project went public for a morale boost just they sent hundereds of spartans on suicide missions so it did'nt work as well as the spartan IIs

I no but every knows that john is part of the 1st class spartans the 2nd class of spartan IIs how ever is speculation to cover up the added spartans that appear in games and books so its a way of making them canon without being canon if that makes sense

    Re: Spartans.

It's also stated that John was the last Spartan. Yet we know this to be untrue. After searching, yes the Spartan II 2nd Class was begun in 2537 (with the inclusion of the Axon Clips (I love bees) into Halo Canon.) However I gave that example to try and give the argument that no theory is a dumb theory as long as there is evidence to support the possibilities. What I mean by that is this. We were told that John was the last Spartan. Later, we find out that he was not. The possibility for there to be more Spartans was there.

A dumb theory would be the Forge/117 relation theories, as well as the Halsey/Anders. The ages that we have and the homeworld locations, mannerisms of individuals, marital status, etc. comepletely outrules any relations. Those theories seem to be made with the sole purpose of annoying people.

Ok i have to confess i lost u after i love bees but i have a small idea about what ur talkin about, r u trying to say ur proving that any theory with facts arnt useless unlike the forge being john 117 theorys that have no solid facts to prove otherwise???? or somthing along those lines if im know where close please dumb it down for me,

For some1 with alot of knowledge about the halo verse i am kinda dumb lol
