Does anyone know (I mean really for sure) if we will be able to play on the covenant side of things... or at least different factions of the humans like in Red Alert 2 where each country had a specific super weapon type thing... that would be cool :D

the flood was found on Halo and it probably takes place before Halo 1 game

I would have to imagine that there will be a multiplayer mode, and if that is the case I'd say playing as the Covenant is pretty much a given.

Id say yes...yes for Covenant Forces.

 I, thinking of it like DoW...where the main story follows the main combatants army, and then you play as the others in multi-player/skirmish.

Will the Covenant be a playable faction in this game? I hope they will, as I enjoy taking advantages of both sides.

They have to be!

The official answer is "stay tuned" but I think it would be a mistake (and would disappoint a LOT of people) if they weren't.

I would hope so, the Covanent perspective was pretty interesting while playing as the Arbiter.

Well in the FaQ they say to "stay tuned" so i guess that if they werent going to include them they would just flat out say no, which means we will be able to eat some spartans :P

I'd imagine - and hope - so since it's an important part of the universe.
