if the arbiter wasn't a second rate fighter who got overconfident and played with his prey then forge would have been defeated. johnson has his all knowingness and what seems like super human intuition to get out of scrapes.

Sgt. Johnson: Has alot of experience. Has been on the battlefield many times and has one most of them. Has survived many flood encounters and cannot be infected. Has pwned so many enemies you can't even count. Has worked with master chief alot. And uses a cigar.

Sgt. Forge: Has some experience. Has been on the battlefield sometimes and has a good amount of them. He has not survived a true flood encounter and he can be infected. Has pwned some enemies......main one being the arbiter. has never seen master chief before yet alone work with him. And he does not use a cigar.
