Everybody remembers the Halo movie that was on production/is stopped or maybe canceled?

I remeber, and i hope you do so, if i'm not wrong the director is Neil Blomkamp, but, imagine that for some reason, he doesn't feels in the mood to continue/ start/ finish the movie? (Like what happens to Christopher Nolan with Batman 3, or what may happen to Bay with transformers 3.)

Which director would you like to finish/start the long awaited (at least by me) Halo Movie?

Here's my list of suggestions

(The order has nothing to do)

1.-Michael Bay - He will load this movie of action, and we'll have the chance to look at the greatest battles from the Haloverse (Fall of reach, Battle of earth) and like a lot of people says with transformers, the movie will have a lot plot holes.(I didn't find any with transformrs)

2.-Steven Spielberg - This guy is amazing, Back to the future, War of the worlds, 2 indiana Jones, and Men in black. (just my favorites lol!) Enough said.

3.-J.J. Abrams. - Did you see what this guy did with star trek? i did, i think it was incredible, had a lot of action but also was focused on the main characters.

4.-George Lucas - Star Wars... hmmm just epic! If you don't want him as a director, at least as the producer, i don't know if it was him, but the battle of Curouscant (Episode III) was the biggest space battle i've ever seen, and my favorite.

So this guys are my suggestions as directors for the Halo Movie.

I've heard that Neil will not include master chief as the main character O.o I believe that one if this guys will.(If you don't place him as the main who's story are you going to tell? Cortana's¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?!!!!!!

More than 1 halo movie will be good, IMO there must be 3 (If you want to tell the 3 games)

Or they can make 5 - 6 if they want to set the most important events in the halo stroyline. First contact - Reach - Instalation 04 - Battle of earth with instalation 02 - Battle of earth (of halo 3) with the ark. this one should be split in 2 parts (like harry potter's final movie)

At the start of halo 3 the cutscence is the cheif crashing in a pod with the srage at his landing site....

Yes i remember that clip, but they really announced a movie with Blomkamp as the director.

It has been stopped like 3 times due to some studio's business.
