What annoys me most is how you are so ready to say that these are serious peices of writing. They aren't. They are some of those FF's that we consider "Taboo" over here. This is not something that is worth reading and it isn't enjoyable. If this is the kind of filth that the new members of Halo Wars Forums want to see, then go somewhere else. This is a rare occurence and if the only reason you stay out of the Library is because of actual thought out and good pieces of writing, then you are seriously misguided and immature.

The fact that some/all older members consider themselves the literary superior to those that are new and perhaps enjoy writing about cross-species relationships amuses me and makes me angry at the same time. Firstly because it's completely wrong for older members to consider their tastes paramount to what gets submitted to the site and secondly because the attitude in which most of them speak on the forums totally contradicts the level of skill in writing they submit.

Such an FF has existed before, although some didn't like it, others did because of how corny it was. It was well written and contained some very humorous scenes. But it died pretty fast. We don't consider ourselves superior to your writing. Your writing was good. Besides a few small errors, it was your story and reason behind writing the FF that made us angry.

We do not consider our tastes above what you all write, we would give you helpful tips if you were new and it was a serious attempt at something good, but it isn't is it? It is a purposeful attempt at something plain stupid and immature. Even if the writing was good, it was still horrific overall. And many people talk differently than they write... do you mean to say, that anyone who uses slang and other such words and leet speak, but then comes in the Library and writes an amazing piece of writing, that they are contradicting themselves? Well, maybe they speak like that because they just want to shorten words. It doesn't necessarily make them contradictory.
