Just build:

SP - SP - SP - SP - Fortress - R - R - VD - NOTHING BUT TANKS

If anything goes on just build a couple turrets while you're building you're third or fourth SP.

If they aren't doing anything after 7 minutes just bring your tanks over there and start destroying them.

I bet this was mentioned a lot of times but I'm just throwing it out there for another topic to talk about.

Rushing is what beats that strat lol. Thats a booming strat, and rushing > Booming

Yeah that strat works, it really depends on how plentiful the map supplies are and how well gathing is going (4 Sp first if there is little cash, 3 Sp if there is plenty), I like to go SP - SP - SP (turret) - reactor - reactor - VD (sell turret) - SP - reactor upgrade = 3 canister tanks pretty fast...clear bases and expand, drop in Spartans start owning your enemy with only 3 tanks...or replace the last supply with tech center and research reinforcements and you can mass tanks instead of teching tanks.

Halo 3 still has nothing to do with Halo Wars.

Someone can be incredibly good at Halo 3,  but when it comes to Halo Wars or any RTS, they can be dumb struck.
