Me and Studmuffin were playing a match against FJ and Prince. FJ (chieftan) attacks with banshees at about 4 mins while Prince comes in with a lot of scorpions a couple minutes later. Both me and my teammate were UNSC and we can build turrets plus marines and warthogs but all the banshees have to do is out micro the marines while killing the turrets. The hogs don't really serve much a threat either because the chieftan just uses his vortex and kills the hogs. Plus the scorpions coming in will destroy any sort of counter to the banshees. Also, the banshees just have to out micro the spartans which is not hard at all.

It seems to me that this strategy is very hard to beat. The banshees keep us at our base long enough for the scorpions to be finished producing and then the scorpions will kill whatever counter we have made to the banshees. I would like to know what to do in this situation. Thanks :D

after facing it if we ran into it again it would not be as hard to beat, the cheiftain for the majority of the time can only attack one of us at a time and we we would have used turrets the air would be no problem, one of us could just be anders and use gremlins and the one being attacked would have to make marines and some flamers, that's just my thought but I cant really explain it, anyway I just recently found out how hard cutter pwns so I didnt expect anything from him. Hew just grabbed a second base and dual prduced tanks.

also FJ if your reading this I would have loved to get pwned more but I had to help paint my room, removing wallpaper SUCKS!

go air as well, you should get hornets when the tanks come. defend with marines, spartans and turrets against the banshees. also get hogs if you can. the soft counter of UNSC>covi units will win you hornets against banshees.

or cyclop rush fj. he will definatly retreat. why didn't you just ask fj?

Oh so that is what prince did! That sneaky little man... Still that seems like a fairly hard strategy to defend against because he has so many tanks at like 7 mins or whatever it was. The banshees would not have let me produce air to counter those tanks even if I wanted.

FJ said hog rush his base while one of us makes units. The hog rush will make him retreat  and give us enough units/time to stop the tanks.

I sent my brute in asap and prince expanded asap

I locked soe banshees in my base, and when i thought the enemy was making a strong enuogh push back, i went and unlocked, to help my brute. By the time they did push me out. Prince was dual pumping canister and it was all over.

I suggest you spwan my base with hogs, and attack prince with hogs and stop any reactors going up. I may then be forced to retreat.

I suggest you spwan my base with hogs, and attack prince with hogs and stop any reactors going up. I may then be forced to retreat.

At least my Cutter canister got some use before everyone started doing it. First us, then LL, then RAYP, now prince lol.
