TM, you outdo yourself my friend! I was awed at the way you have improved since way back when, you leave me thirsty for more even now! I commend you on this one TM, however, one thing didn't ring clear with me. How did the Spartan kill a Brute with a punch. Remember that Brutes can survive bullets to the head and being crushed by tons of debris. I don't care how strong the Spartan in question is, it shouldn't die in a punch. I think you could have made that little scene into an epic battle between the Brute and the Spartan, that I would have liked to see, with a little lack of action in that chapter, it would have filled my bloodlust.
Let us get this out of the way, thank you, I find it so much easier to write then when I first began, but still I have a while to go before my stories are at the level I want them to be.
Secondly, that was not a Spartan, that was Derek, and if you remember the conversation between Hughes and the ONI agents, I stated that the SIGMA Soldiers were stronger than Spartans, but the punch didn't kill him, it thrust his head back so fast that his neck snapped, I would've added it but I thought people would've caught what I meant.
And finally, I left out action to show how efficient Alpha team was. To show they could destroy a Covenant ground base and fleet without being detected, but do not worry, blood will fall soon enough.
