Flood, alive or dead?

    Flood, alive or dead?

    In Halo 3, all the Flood went to the Ark, then the Halo ring was activated, killing all the Flood there.

    So, does anyone know if there was any Flood that didn't go to the Ark.

    Maybe some that were still on other Halos.

    I know they could have the Flood reappear if they wanted to but maybe someone knows for sure one way or the other.

    Whatever Bungie wants to happen will happen. Since this series isn't real and there are no definite answers to this question, they can do whatever they want with it.

    There were flood on Delta Halo as well as the research facility, i dare say there are flood on the other halo installations and possibly other galaxies.
    The flood are afterall extra galactic beings.

    Precisely. The Flood threat has been eliminated. That does not mean, however, that the Flood has been eliminated.

    the ark was not ment to kill the flood 

     

    if u have played halo ce it says it was ment  to kill the floods food supply (humans and covenant) so the arks activation would have starved the flood of thier food so the forrunners could kill them easier

    IDK. There might be some on the rings or on other forerunner relics but for now no flood.

    The Flood are very much alive. After all the Flood threat on Installation 05 was never fully taken care of AND it's probable that other installations (ex. Threshold Gas Mine) are still being used to contain the Flood. All in all, the Flood still live but it remains to be seen if they are still going to be an influential figure in the Halos to come.
