I think the word everyone is looking for is LAME! how is this an update our Halo Wars? this is more like an update on some guy that's a lead developer on the game, just give us one screenshot!!! that's all you have to do!!!

 It's too early for screenshots.  The higher ups are still keping hush-hush.  Accept that for now.  I don't want to see screenshots untill the game is perfected, and i don't want this game to be rushed like Halo2.

a simple question i have, that reveals little of halowars (beyond speculation) is

What games (besides Halo) are providing inspiration for Halo Wars?

Its simple, reveals nothing directly aobut halo wars, and give us something to talk and speculate about, like "he said [insert game name here], i wonder if that means they're gonna do [insert cool thing in said game] in halowars"

 

i guess this just means we really do need a member-designer chat thing sometime, of course u won't be able to answer some of our questions, but if its limited to the senior members, we'll probably get some good ones you can't help but answer

I liked the update, its cool to hear from the people who make the games, while it didnt give much info on the game itself, it was still neat.

I hope they stop doing the Updates completely because of some of you air heads.

Some people actually want to become part of the game making process themselves or actually care about the people who make they game they hope to enjoy once released, this kind of update appeals to them. It can't always be about fucking pleasing the people that are like "omg i want pics! lulz, pics or stfu!".

In other words, grow up and suck it up. Spoiled brats.

We're not spoiled its just because when we look at the Bungie Updates they give us something interesting, if its a interview you get to hear alittle bit more about the game even if this isn't much. When Esemble updates they give us a picture or in this case a interview that doesn't really give us that much to talk about. Thats it, when you get a update you want something to keep you talking for the rest time until the next interview.

I dont know i think its always good to know who the guy who is leading a project is. it lets you get an incite into what the project will be like i mean that is the guy who ultimately gets to decide what goes in the game or what concepts go in the trash can. with the game this far way from being released any way its not like we can expect every single update to contain really exciting stuff b/c if they do that they are bound to disappoint when that feature or that unit or that map gets kicked from the game to the trash can. and honestly you need to stop con paring ES updates to bungies's its not a fair example one game is in early development and the other is getting ready for a public beta. you see the lopsidedness.

lol, u missunderstand us completely, IF u've read the bungie updates, we're talking about how frankie and the few other update guys can take very little real information and spin it to build hype

like lets say, im Thunder, been playing some of the halowars, and maybe recently, they tried out a new texture for the marine and its looking cooler, i might say something like "the textures in the game jsut keep getting better and better, I can't wait until we can show you guys"

see, fisrt off, it makes us think the whole game is getting graphically polished (tho really it was just the marines at this time) and makes us be like "omg....WHY CAN"T WE SEE IT NOW!!!?!?!?!?!....... damn, this is gonna be sweet"
