Aloysius:Post in here if you think the Covenant is OP, and why, and what you think should be done about it! I will be combining threads that pop up into this one.
i know this wont end up happening, but im throwing it out there. sinse when do RTS's have leaders that can take out massive armys? seriously? ok, so if one unit can take out an army of 10 with a special power "leader power" then i think there is a problem. i posteda topic a while back with suggestions.

what needs to be done
* GET rid of leaders (i think this would make the game way better. itd be all about micromanaging jackals vs flamers and stuff.)
* debuff the covenant leaders (make arbiter rage cost WAY more, make him have less health, brute chieftain more cost, weaker, prophet no shield needs to be purchaseD)
*debuff the covenant (any way possible, but probably wont work because they would be too weak in the long run)
*buff up the UNSC (wont work, they are already stronger inthe long run if you make it far)
*give the UNSC leaders (my personal favorite idea. get seargent forge in a hog, stuff like that like campaign, give them equal power vs covys)
*give UNSC stronger turrets ? / infantry (cant really see this working, as i said, unsc are already stronger in the long run)
i think leaders need to be taken out. thats my personal opinion. if not, i think the second most fair thing is to give UNSC leaders and maybe take away there leader powers like mac blast and stuff. i played a game today 1v1 prophet vs chieftain, my army was so much stronger, and i only lost because vortex was used 8 times, it killed at least 7 of my banshees, 7 honor guards, and 3 vampires. thats pretty unfair, using 500-700 resources and he takes out like 15 of my units.
