ok, the flood are not, repeat not going to be in Halo wars.  IT TAKES PLACE 30 OR SO YEARS BEFORE THEY EVEN FIND THE FLOOD.

30 years before finding the flood was....2522.....3 years BEFORE the Covenant assault of Harvest.....lol 

I was approximating.  I don't remember exactly when the encounter was.

 Yeah, what I am most interested in a update is what type of RTS this game will be, more like Company of Heroes or Age of Empires, or some mixture of the two

i was palin dawn of war today and got bored and went into army paniter and made a green eladr army and called them sparatns 4.And now i really really cant what for Halo Wars.

I wonder if anybody here has any game making experience (from a school class maybe) so that they could make a demo model of what the game could be like.  Most likely using suggestions from the Master Thread.  I don't care if it looks crappy, as long as it would show an idea.  Know anybody?

Bit late, but anyway...

How can the Sparrowhawk see action on the ground at Harvest when Harvest is a gigantic ball of glass when the UNSC first arrives there, even before Cole's fleet is mobilised?

The Covenant glassed it straight from orbit, before the first battlegroup (Arabia, Vostok and Hercules) even got there. When they got owned, that's when Cole got his huge fleet together and retook Harvest, even though it was useless to them anyway (all the people were dead and the planet was a wasteland).
