Well Dmand, as you said this "This is a good question for my thread..." so i think i may start this up

 

Will there be another halo series? will it be completely different? must it involve the halos (via the name)? will there be a new series as it seems so vast yet there must be because they have named these halo games a "series" in the form of "arc"?

 hope it starts up a whole new idea, maybe bungie can chek up on it, might get pretty intense.....(well i think so.......)

Bungie has stated that halo 3 is the end of the MC's story arc, but not the end of the halo-verse

hell, ES is making halo wars, whihc maintains another Story arc on its own

I understand your point but not entirely, if you say halo wars is another arc story all on its own then the humans new about halo and arc before they jumped into slipspace so wouldnt wondering what the hello it was, man, halo wars confuses me, whats it got 2 do with halo? the humans know nothing of it yet..........

it has nothign to do with the Halo-Superweapon,but it maintains the Halo stroy because it is part of the Halo Universe

Hold it right now i know what ur problem is... The ARK is different then a story ARC.... A story arc is just a series inside a fantasy world, like Halo.

So to say the arc is over is to mean that the tale of the MC is over. Maybe we will follow some other character that helped the MC. Or maybe a story on the forerunners. Bungie has an infinite amount of room for other stories.

Yes, Eric Nylund once said in an interview that the Halo games and books covered a miniscule portion of the Haloverse. There must be so much out there that doesn't involve the Human-Covenant War.

the Halo Superweapon is the ring system itself, and the other games go through the rest of the Halo Universe....think Star Wars, the universe of starwars expands far beyond the movies, as the games and suhc have proven, and it will continue to grow

just because it has the name Halo, doesn't mean it has anything specifically to do with the Halo rings, but instead the Halo Universe

so you are generally stating that halo is not ring, but a universe? do you have evidence of this?i mean, what the covenent describe was halo itself being "halo" and this was built by the forerunners, if what you are saying is that halo is not merely a ring but a universe (nothing to do with majesty or ice particles in the air aswell) then the halo unverse is directly the same as possibly the forerunners universe. I really dont see how people are calling Halo a universe when the only sugestion is that it is what it is, a giant halo!

ok, i get, im not so smart here (well not at all infact) but my question in this whole thing is what willl be the next step in the halo universe and if there are any relations to this, i just thought i might be able to see what some people would find fun as the new HALO concept, does anyone have any ideas?
